Thanks for helping to make our Fall Homecoming a wonderful experience.

The 32nd Annual Tennessee Fall Homecoming was a huge success, with perfect weather, wonderful music, and excellent crafts and demonstrations!  We’re posting photos to share this event with our internet friends. Mark your calendars now for next year’s event: October 12-14, 2012.

Winner of the banjo raffle was Tommy Taylor, a semi-retired professional alligator wrestler in Palatka, Florida. As he says, “You never know who’s walking around in your gift shop!”  Many thanks to The Banjo Hut in Knoxville for donating the American Classic Mahogany banjo!

Tommy proudly shows the banjo he won from our Homecoming raffle. His grandaughter Karlie Looney, is at his side. "She loves to pick it so I can see Grampy is going to have to make sure she gets the proper size banjo and some lessons. The banjo is beautiful , everyone has had a fit over it. Thanks Again to the Museum and to Paul at The Banjo Hut."
