The Museum of Appalachia does not collect personal information about visitors to its website without their knowledge. If you choose to send us your contact information so we may contact you for special events, we will not share that information with any other agency. Furthermore, our mailing lists are never sold, rented, or shared with other organizations or individuals.

Additionally, our site does not leave "cookies" on your hard drive to track your browsing of our website.  Our server may save information about your computer's IP address, but we are never made aware of that information.  

We have an internal counter that tracks the number of visits to our website, but that information cannot be traced to your personal computer in any way.  Feel free to browse our website in perfect privacy!
