with activities throughout the Village!


Homecoming 2007 debuted a re-vamped "Student Day" at  Homecoming!  With lots of hands-on activities, from pottery making and singing school to guitar workshops and clogging lessons, we offered enthusiastic students countless opportunities for Learning, Observing, and Participating!  And thousands of students were thrilled to see live eagles and other birds of prey from the acclaimed American Eagle Foundation!

If your students missed this remarkable new learning opportunity, you'll want to plan to bring your students to the fabulous 2008 . . .

The Museum of Appalachia is open during daylight hours year-round, except Christmas Day.  Closing times vary with the seasons, depending upon daylight hours.  Please telephone for exact hours of closing.
